一个科学工作者应该会:

、设计和进行简单的实验;
、构造和验证简单的理论模型;
、使用电脑(留言里有人补充:不只是 Windows 的 :P);
、解释图表;
、懂代数;
、计算和解释一些基本的统计值(平均值,中值,标准差,等等);
、理解基本的微积分;
、写技术文章解释结果;
、写项目申请;
、用通俗的语言解释你的工作;
、做一个小时长的研究报告;
、阅读和评价同领域别的科学工作者的文章;
、阅读和评价非自身领域的大众科学文章;

文章留言里有人提了一些,我觉得这几条不错:

、使用图书馆,数据库;
、指导学生后辈;
、说“不知道”。
